Founded in 1970 in Germany by Hans Stepper; a master Optician. Stepper’s philosophy is that there is a spectacle frame for every person regardless of face and nose shape. Stepper understands that the main purpose of a spectacle frame is to hold the prescription lenses correctly in front of your eyes, and once there, stay in place. Stepper’s frames are made of the highest quality titanium and specialised plastic materials to ensure that their frames achieve hypoallergenic properties to ensure all day comfort.

They work closely with Japanese artisans to offer exquisite styles in perfect form. Each titanium frame is triple painted by hand to ensure rich colours that will stand the test of time. Their acetate frames are hand-made of Japanese acetate so the highest level. The sides and hinges are reinforced with titanium give a solid yet light product and a side that won’t loosen over time.

Their Acetate models are painstakingly crafted and assembled by hand in Gotti’s own factory in Switzerland from the highest Japanese Acetate. Each model is hand polished and finished by 1 of 7 approved craftsman; you’ll also find their name on the frame.

Their Dimension range are 3D printed of a lightweight but resilient material that can be dyed to a range of colours. If the frame isn’t quite the right size, don’t worry as each model can be printed to any size needed.
